What We Do
GODFA was established as an association of farmers and farmer organizations in Gomba District and it was a demand driven initiative by the local Farmer organizations to have in place an umbrella organization to link the a range of grass root farmer associations. The organization runs its day to day activities in line with the endorsed constitution and the elected board of governors oversees the implementation of various projects and activities.

A District farmer organization network is essential to create linkages between District Local Government, National Farmer Organizations and to improve the flow of relevant information and resources to facilitate the participation of rural house-holds commercialized agriculture.
